Good morning,

I would like to welcome you all to this classroom.
You will hear a speech that you have never heard before. And I hope you will learn something by listening to what I have to say.
And learning that’s what we are here for, in the Heilig Graf in Bilzen. So here’s my question to you: why haven’t we learned from the past?

The enlightening should have learned us that we do not have to accept everything they say. We have the right to think for ourselves and not just say what some one else already has said. But after 400 years, here we are again, on the 22nd of march 2007, doing the wrong thing. Nobody did raise his voice, nobody showed or is going to show his creativity. Were did we go wrong? Is this how we were supposed to be?

I did not have a dream nor did I ever have a sexual relationship with a woman so correct me if I’m wrong. So here’s my message: qui bono? Who benefits when we all can recite a speech of some one who was famous, or some one who got shot because he tried to change the world. I would rather be shot myself then choke in some one else’s words. It doesn’t hurt to be alternative, and you won’t get any dumber if you say what’s on your mind.

You can’t save the world on your own, but one person can change the world… Are you the chosen one? Then we will come together, we will be as one… We can revolt against the madness of learning things by heart without a reason.
We are made to obey the rules and sometime it’s for the best if we do so but we can’t always put up with it.

But it isn’t to late. We aren’t living on a sinking ship, we can still have trust in our own capabilities and have faith in all we do. If you become the captain of your own ship, you can save your own life of boredom, and you can help saving the lives of the people you love the most. And you have to admit it sounds a lot better than dying with the thought it could have been so much better.

When I step away from this imaginary stage, I will be proud of myself because I said what I wanted to say and I’m sure a couple of people will think the same thing.
